Summer Fun

We have been spending a lot of time outside this week (even though it is hot and has rained just about everyday). The kids both love being outdoors. Here are some of our activities from this past week. Logan got some sidewalk paint from a friend for his birthday and here he is testing it out. Pretty Cool Logan!!! Addie is enjoying driving Logan's car around!

Having fun in his pool!! This was our 2nd attempt this week. Ava came over this week to swim and as soon as I got the pool out and water in it the rain came pouring down.

We finally got to go to the neighborhood pool today for the first time this summer. We have wanted to make it over there but things have been so busy and it is hard with 2 kids. My mom came over today so we decided to take the kids on over. They had a blast. It is such a nice pool. I added some pictures at the end of the kid section of the pool. Neither of the kids wanted to leave. We found out the best time to go is right after it rains because no one is there :) We would love for any of our friends to come join us at the pool one day!

Sun Bathing Beauty



Since I am really bad about writing things in Addies baby book I like to kind of put her milestones on my blog so that I can go back and see when she did what. She has been waving bye bye and clapping for about 2 to 3 months now. Addie has been saying "dadadada" for quite a while now and says "Mamama" just every now and then. I imagine "brother" will be next. She is finally eating her food (yes, even baby food) but still loves table food. She loves to eat strawberries, kiwi and avacados. Her top two teeth look like they are going to be popping through any day now!!! She really does not fuss when she is cutting teeth. Logan didnt either! I guess maybe they have a high pain tolerance. I hope so because I do not. Speaking of pain tolerance, Logan busted his lip open last night and we thought we needed to go to the emergency room for stitches but the bleeding stopped so we opted not to. I think he was more upset about the bleeding than the actual pain. After about 1 1/2 of screaming because he was bleeding we finally had some peace and quiet. This morning he had a nice fat lip to show for it!!!

Ok there are a few of you that have not gotten to see the new house and asked to see some pictures. I don't have really good ones but this is all I have for now. We are so far from being done with decorating the house. I am starting to get the itch to paint now. Once our summer slows down (or after summer) I will get too that!!!

Weekend Fun

This weekend we had a baby shower for a really good friend (practically family) of ours. It was a beautiful shower. Kaleb (the baby) gave all the girls at the shower little diamond bracelets (of course not real diamonds) wrapped in a cute little box. They said he is learning how to give ladies good gifts at an early age :). She got lots and lots of goodies for Kaleb!!!!
Fabulous food. They had finger foods sitting out for appetizer and then they brought out tomato basil soup and a pecan crusted chicken salad. Of course the chocolate covered strawberries for our desert were my favorite!!!

Today we went over to some friends for a get together. Logan decided he wanted to swim. Thanks to Jenny, Drew and Lauren we did not have to get in.
Logan was even getting kind of brave. He let Jenny take him off the step.

Happy Belated Birthday Ryan!!!

Okay I feel really bad because last Thursday was my amazing husbands birthday and I did not even post to wish him a happy birthday. There was a reason behind this. His mom had given me a cd with his baby pictures on it and so I was looking for it so I could post a picture of him when he was a baby on here with his birthday wishes. Well I still have not found it (i know it is here somewhere) so I felt bad for not wishing him a happy birthday at all so HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN! We love you!!! Hope you had a great birthday!

Logan seriously might think his birthday lasts about a week. We have been celebrating all weekend and all week. It doesn't help that Ryan's birthday is the day after and he thinks that we are still celebrating his birthday too. Here are some pictures of our celebrations and our week thus far.

Sunday Ryan went to the Yankees/Astros game and so the kids and I went with my dad, mom, grandpa and gradma to Outback for Fathers day. So before we got there someone told them it was Logan's birthday so they brought out a chocolate sundae and sang happy birthday too him.

Tuesday my parents took us to Cheesecake Factory to celebrate Lo's and Ryans birthday since they were going out of town. Again, more desert and singing!!!!

Addison had a hissy fit over the whip cream. She could not get enough!

Last night we went out to eat with Kris for Logans and Ryans birthday at Brio. Afterwards Logan really really wanted to ride the boat so since it was his birthday we took a ride.
