New Haircut

I got my hair cut and highlighted today. I got brave and chopped it all off. I am not sure I wanted it this short but oh well it will grow back out eventually. I do love the way she did the back of my hair and I love the color too.

Little Princess

The other day I was showing Addie's tutu to someone and so I put it on her to show them. Addie Loved it. She is just so prissy and I absolutely love it. I hope she stays this way and loves to be in dresses all the time :). Here she is showing off her teeth. One of her teeth finally cut through at the top and the other is trying to make its way out. She found this box and had a blast playing in it for about 30 minutes. Who needs toys???? She loves to clap for herself when she stands up and wants everyone else to clap too!

On a daily basis Addie empties her basket full of diapers and usually she will carry one around in her mouth. She is actually pretty smart. When she wants to get something to the other room she just sticks it in her mouth and carries it where she wants it.

I think I am going to have her 1 year pictures taken in the tutu and her bloomers with her name on them. I can not believe she will be a year in 1 MONTH!!!! She is still my little baby.

Passing Time

We tried to keep ourselves busy while Ryan was gone. We met Logans buddy Tyler at the mall one day. They have so much fun together!!!!
The kids love the book Brown Bear, Brown Bear. We also like the Polar Bear and Panda Bear book too but we did not have the newest book Baby Bear, Baby Bear. The other day I was at Kohls and picked up the book for the kids and Addie LOVES stuffed animals so I got the bear to go with the book. The kids LOVE it. We always love having new books to read.

Here is Logan watching his Aunt Pam alter his tux for Uncle Chads wedding. He is very interested in sewing as you can see.

We stayed with my parents a few more days while Ryan was gone. One morning we woke up and went to the pier to feed the ducks. Here is Logan looking for ducks in his pj's!!!

This is Logans little town. He places it somewhere different every day. Here it was on my kitchen table. He tells me the cars are having a "Wheels party - wheels only".

Here he has moved it to my bedroom. Then the next day it was the coffee table.

Oh this was cute - We have been talking about walking down the aisle at Uncle Chads wedding so the other day I was at Target and something brought up the wedding and I asked Logan what he was going to do and he said "walk down the hill" - close enough I guess. Then I told him he was going to have to carry a pillow down the aisle (and if you know Logan he gets very attached to things and one of these things is his red pillow that he sleeps with at night - we take it everywhere) and he said sure I can walk with my red pillow. I don't think that is what the bride has in mind!!!!

5th Anniversary

Happy 5th Anniversary Ryan!!!! Yesterday was our anniversary (and yes, my husband is gone but on his behalf I gave him permission)!!!! :) That was part of the reason for our getaway last weekend. I knew he really wanted to make this trip and I was happy for him to go. Of course I still miss him like crazy but I am happy he is having a great time. I will let him update you on his trip when he returns home. I tried to make this slideshow last night but fell asleep doing so. It is just a few of the pictures I had on my computer from the 2 of us throughout the past couple of years. It has been an amazing 5 years with an amazing husband!!!!! I love you Ry!

We Miss You Daddy

Ryan is away right now on a Baseball Tour. It is a pretty cool deal. They go to about 6 or 7 different ball games at different parks each day all up in the East Coast i.e. Mets, Yankees, Red Sox, Nationals and some others I can't think of off the top of my head. They also get to go to the hall of fame induction on Sunday. Ryan was so excited to go on this trip. It sounds like any baseball lovers dream!!! He said it was a good year to go since it is the last year for the Yankees and Mets teams to play on their old fields. I watch baseball because Ryan does but not as into it as he is. So anyones whos husbands would love something like this let us know and I will email you the information.
Anyways, we really miss our Daddy and wanted to let him know what we have been up to while he is gone!!! We came to hang out with my parents for a few days and have more plans for the rest of the week. Our Kiddos LOVE spaghetti. Here they are enjoying their SUPER MESSY dinner. OH well what fun would it be without a mess (especially when you are at grandmas).

Cleaning off the mess!

Logan and Nonny made a tent!!

After dinner tonight we went down to the pier. Logan loves to see all the boats.

We can't wait for you to come home Ryan. We are trying not to have too much fun while you are gone!

Weekend Getaway

This past weekend we headed to Austin for a little getaway before Ryan goes on his baseball trip. We had fun. We actually stayed about 40 minutes away from Austin at a resort in Horseshoe Bay. It was very nice. Apparently they are known for their 4 golf courses. Ryans favorite was the 18 hole putt putt course made with real golf grass, flamingos and waterfalls. Probably the fanciest putt putt I have ever seen. They had boats and jet skis you could rent and if we would have been there longer would have been great to do. This was a great family resort if anyone is interested in going away but not too far away!!!

Addie's 9 Month Pictures

Here are some pictures I had taken of Addie. They are supposed to be her 9 month pics but she is really 10. I also have Logan's 3 year pictures taken but I do not have them on the computer!!! I will try to scan them sometime this week.
