This weekend we went to Dallas to go to Market. It was a last minute trip and nice and short. We had fun though. Here is a picture of Logan at the hotel. His hair is spiked up and he looks like such a big boy.
Yesterday we went to some friends for a 4th of July party for the kids. They made 4th of July shirts and had lots of goodies. Here is a cute picture of them all sitting down watching Finding Nemo (one of Logan's favorites - even though we do not have it).

For Logan's Birthday we invited his friend Ava to go to the mall with us for the day. The kids had Chick fil A (which is Logan's absolute favorite) then got to ride the carousel which is always a good time and then finished the day off with some ice cream from Marble Slab. Oh what a mess that was considering Logan wanted Chocolate and in a cone. For dinner my parents had us over for one of Logan's favorite meals, chicken and macaroni and cheese (and some other good stuff for us that he won't eat). My mom made Logan and Ryan a birthday cake and Logan enjoyed licking the bowl of icing with Uncle Chad. He was exhausted when we got home but I am sure had a fun and eventful day!!!!!!

Logan Christopher was born 2 years ago today. Here are some pictures from the day he was born. It is so amazing how fast they grow. He can do so many new things that he could not even do a year ago. He can count to 10, knows all of his colors, sleeping in a big boy bed, and is talking sentences (my favorites being "i love you mommy" or "i love you daddy" and "i'm sorry mommy". He is becoming such a sweet boy. I love it when he comes up to me and just hugs my legs real tight or tells me "kiss mommy" meaning he wants a kiss. Those are the moments I will treasure forever. Hopefully next year I will be able to say that he is potty trained :). That is our next big accomplishment.

Happy Fathers Day to all you Dad's. I know Ryan had a nice father's day and I hope everyone else did too. We had lunch at Brio with Ryan's dad and then dinner at Pappasitos with my dad and we also celebrated Ryan's and Logan's birthdays. Here are some pictures from our day. We really appreciate everything our dad's do for us and Logan and I also appreciate everything Ryan does for our family. We love you Ryan (daddy)!!!!
Logan had his 2nd Birthday Party this weekend. He had lots of friends and family come. He loved the cake and ice cream the best. There was 1 piece left and that was the first thing he asked for when he got up from his nap was "more cake". He got lots of cool presents but was not really into opening any of them. We finally got them all open thanks to the help of Ava and Haley. The kids got to jump in the bounce house for a little while before it started raining. I don't think we will ever do an outdoor party because it seems to be a tradition that it rains at all of Logans birthday parties. We missed everyone that could not be there.

We had a very busy week and weekend. Friday our friends Erin and James came over for a little while to hang out and Erin helped me do a few things around the house. Thanks Erin!!!! Saturday we had a Family Reunion at my Mema's house. Logan always love going up there because she lives in the country and he loves to run free. Saturday night we celebrated Ryan's grandmothers 90th birthday. Happy Birthday Grandma Jones. Sunday we went to an Astros game. Logan did a lot better than I thought he was going to. He is already a 'Stros fan. He even got him a new Astros hat and the whole game would say "Go Astros". The sad thing was that the Astros lost. The pictures are a little out of order but enjoy.

Here are some pictures from Memorial Weekend that I have been trying to put on here for about a week. They would not upload for some reason. We had fun hanging out with Daddy.
Logan has a Fisher Price Lawn M.ower and when Ryan was outside mowing he wanted to get his mower out as well. He worked so hard trying to follow his daddy around the yard. Ryan is counting down the days until Logan can actually mow the lawn so he won't have to:)
