Christmas Part 2
We went over to my aunts for lunch and for Christmas with my mom's side of the family. My kids got even more presents but most of all had fun playing with their cousins. They all make them feel so special and give them lots of attention. Logan thinks it is so cool to hang out with all the boys and I am so glad that they let him...he thinks he is one of the guys.

Christmas Lunch - Kristi had a special table set up just for Logan and Addie.

The older kids get to play a game and there is a box wrapped (really, really, really good) and inside is money (anywhere between $50 and $150) and they have to roll doubles on dices and then they have to put on the santa hat, a bell around their neck and then try to start opening the box (and this year there were lots of boxes to open but 3 people won $50) but as soon as someone else rolls doubles they take over and whoever gets the box open wins the money. This is always hilarious to watch because they really get into it. I wish I would have got video of it but this year the boys had a system. They are so funny. Here they all are ready to play. Logan really wanted to play too but the kids get way too rough.
Logan opening more gifts. He got more racetracks, Cars carrying bag, clothes and much more.
I love this boy so much
Mema writes a Christmas letter each year telling a little about everyone and she likes to read the Christmas letter from 10 years back every year so this year it was her letter from 1998. It is amazing how 10 years seems like such a long time but yet it seems like yesterday. My grandmother is such a neat lady. This year she told us how she new nothing about her grandmother and grandfather and how she wished she did. So we played a trivia game about my Mema and Pepa. It is really important to know about their lives and to share them with our kids.

So I put all the toys my kids got in our guest room until I could find spots for them all. This is pretty rediculous the amount of things they got. I guess thats what happens when they are the only kids

I hope everyone else had as merry a Christmas as we did but most of all amongst all the gifts you remembered the true meaning of Christmas. I have asked Logan on a daily basis if he really knows what Christmas is about and why we celebrate it and why we give gifts to those we love. It is important to us that they do not think Christmas is about gifts. Even though they get so many I want them to look beyond those gifts. Jesus is the real meaning of Christmas and the best gift anyone could ever have given us. Happy Birthday Jesus!

Christmas Part 1
Christmas morning we were suprised to find Santa delivering the gifts. The kids were excited to say the least but when we told Logan not to let Santa see him he went to hide under the desk in our room. We spent most the morning opening gifts and then we had Christmas and breakfast wiht my parents.
Looks like Santa was good to the kids this year....
Logan excited to go see his gifts
Addie helping Logan test out his new race track that he asked for from Santa
Addie found a doll that Santa left for her.

The spider man scooter was a big hit. Its too bad that the weather has been so yucky because he really wants to go out and ride it. For now he has been riding it around the house.
Ryan got this sweet little book for Addie for Christmas. It is about a little girl and her daddy and it is written by Tim McGraw. It is just so sweet.
Christmas Eve with Grandpa and Grammy
We spent Christmas Eve over at Kris and Gregs. We made pizzas and openend lots of great gifts. It was a nice evening and I know my kids were pleased with all their new toys.
The night ended in a game of Twister (sorry my pictures are backwards)
Logan got a Big Wheels (but as he likes to call it a "motorcyle". He got on it and said "lets rock and roll". Where he heard this, I have no idea but it was hilarious.
There were some spats over the Big Wheels. Addie also wanted to ride. So Big Brother was kind enough to let her tag along on the back (even though she really wanted to drive it, this was close enough - and she did get her driving time in later that evening).
Addie got a sweet little ballerina top. Logan loved watching it. It is funny that they really enjoyed each others gifts. Next year it is double of everything....
Addie sat on a bow and this was pretty cute...
Logan got a Leapfrog Tag and lots of fun books to go along with it (oh and don't you love his new Cars hoodie).
Addie got a highchair, a diaper bag with diapers, wipes, bottle, and changing pad in it, a feeding kit with peas, a spoon, bib, and cereal and a bath tub all from Pottery Barn kids. She loves playing mommy so this was right up her alley. Her she is feeding her baby a bottle.
Showing off her new high chair.
Since Logan doesn't let her play with his cars and she wants to so badly, she got one of her own.
This girl loves to read and she got lots of new books for Christmas. She loves to come and sit in my lap and bring me a book to read to her. This is one of the many things I love about her.
Logan helping Addie open a present. He couldn't get enough of opening presents. Every time he was done with one he would ask for more. I think he really just enjoyed unwrapping them more than anything.

Logan was so excited he got "Kung Fu Panda". He would just get so excited when he would open a gift. He was so much fun to watch this year and he always had something cute to say. Logan keeps us laughing and we love to hear what is going to come out next.

I think 90% of the pictures I have of Addie, she is eating. Probably because that is what she does 90% of the time. Here she is enjoying some yummy, and I mean yummy, oreo cupcakes.
