Happy Birthday To ME!
Yep, yesterday was my birthday. Just another year older. At least I am not 30 yet (stil 2 more years to go) :) Just kidding. I know a bunch of you guys are 30 so I thought I had to throw that in!! The kids and I had lunch with my grandma yesterday and did some shopping and then we went with my parents to dinner at Brio. Nothing specail but it is always special to be with my family. Thanks guys for always making my birthday a great one!!!!

I would like to encourage everyone to go read this article. Answers a lot of questions that some of you may have on the election. I read it all the way through and it is written very well. Rennaisance
We went to the Rennaisance festival with Jenny and Drew Sunday. This was my first time to go. It was definitely a different world. We had a good time though.
We did a pumpkin carving party with the youth Sunday night. We love hanging out with all these guys and our kids love them too.

Last Wednesday we went up to my moms school for their Fall Festival. Logan loves to go up there and the kids just love them. He thinks he is really big to get hang out with all the big boys and Addie just loves all the attention that she gets. After the festival we headed over to Chuck E. Cheese for Parkers birthday party.

Notice to All EmployeesAs of November 5, 2008, if President Obama is officially elected into office, our company will instill a few new policies which are in keeping with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:
1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are underachieving a "fair shake."
2. All low level workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime, into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst yourselves. This will help those who are "too busy for overtime" to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.
3. All top management will now be referred to as "the government." We will not participate in this "pooling" experience because the law doesn't apply to us.
4. The "government" will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging it's workers to continue to work hard "for the good of all."
5. The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it's "good to spread the wealth." Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more "patriotic."
6. The last few people who were hired should clean out their desks. Don't feel bad, though, because President Obama will give you free healthcare, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free food stamps, and he'll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can't pay your mortgage.If you appeal directly to our democratic congress, you might even get a free flat screen TV and a coupon for free haircuts (shouldn't all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?) !!!If for any reason you are not happy with the new policies, you may want to rethink your vote on November 4th.
Also, a better way to put it or think about it is (as stolen from Kristens blog)
This election is about the future of the nation, but it will also go a long way toward determining the culture, your children and grandchildren will come to know. I know you will vote with your children and your children's children in mind. That certaintly puts the election in a different light, doesn't it?...I am less concerned about political parties than I am with the timeless biblical principles that those parties have the power to either strengthen or damage."

It has been a busy weekend
This weekend has flown by but has been extremely busy. I think we may have spent about 16 hours at home all weekend (and that was just to sleep). We have been to soccer games, festivals, wedding showers, church and bible studies. We would love to say we could relax next weekend but I definitely don't think that is going to be the case.
We took some pictures from the fall festival we went to today with some friends. Aubrey and Ashton were Scooby Doo and Daphne and Logan and Addie were Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. How cute. Enjoy the pictures.
