Fun with Eggs

Today at the gym they had egg dying and an Easter egg hunt for the kids....they had so much fun dying and decorating the eggs..even though most had been dropped and cracked by the time we got home...they were so proud of them.

Happy 4th Birthday Princess Katrina

We were so excited to celebrate with our good friend Katrina at her fairy/princess/pirate birthday party. The kids have been looking forward to her party all week. There was a fun treasure hunt but first you had to earn everything you needed to become a fairy princess or a pirate!
She earned her wings and her crown :)

Aaarrrgghhh Matey...He was such a cute pirate
On the hunt for the lost birthday cake
The Birthday Girl!!!!
Boys being boys...
All the fairy princesses and pirates!
They found the treasure...gold coins and diamond rings...

You are my sunshine

Today my mom, my aunts and my grandma all met up at a tea room nearby to celebrate my Aunt Kristi's birthday. After lunch we went around to some shops. Addie is quite entertaining to take shopping....we took her into a clothing boutique to look around and they had some fancy dresses and she was in heaven...she even found a sparkly purse and diamond headband she so badly wanted to take home with her...she LOVES sparkles. She saw a beautiful yellow dress and said...I wish I could be Belle...sweet girl. Here is a picture of her looking at herself in a mirror in the store with the sparkly headband on. She was turning all around just adoring herself...so fun to watch her grow up.

Egg Hunts and Easter Bunnys

Today we went with some friends to HEB for their Easter egg hunt...the kids had a great time and got lots of eggs filled with candy (as you can see from the pictures). We even found a special silver egg and won an Easter basket full of stuff...there were also golden eggs to be found with gift certificates in them...we were not so lucky to find those though. Both of my kids love anything character in costume...if I were a child I would be scared of the Easter bunny for sure...he is scary looking to me as an adult.
Addie just hugged on him and didn't want to let go...funny girl.

Yesterday daddy was home so we took the kids to have their pictures taken with the Easter bunny...

My Boy

Logan had his first dentist appt this week (well besides the one we tried to do at the family dentist and he wanted nothing to do with it). This one went a little better. He would not let them get xrays but he finally let them look at his teeth and clean them after much bargaining. After the dentist appt Logan and I got to spend some time together...we ran errands and had chick fil a (Logan's choice of course) :).
Another funny sleeping picture...like I say...anywhere but his bed :)

Play Day

Today the kids and I went over to Alexia's to watch the kids while her and Brian had to go downtown for some doctor appts. We had a blast outside enjoying the beautiful weather.

I was trying to teach the kids hopscotch...apparently Logan already knew how to play...he said he learned at school...hmmm...and sure enough he did know.
Having races...
Snack time...

Spring Break

The rest of our break was exactly that...a break. We never went anywhere but we enjoyed some time with family and enjoyed a little more nice weather.
Addie's legs look so long here...I don't think of her as tall but she does seem to have long legs (not sure where she gets those) :)
While Addie and I were swinging at the park Ryan and Logan were playing some baseball (still Logan's favorite thing to do - he can hardly wait for baseball season to start)

He will sleep anywhere but his bed....
My cousin and his family went skiing for spring break so we got to watch his sweet little dog Ralph. He made it through the week alive...It is quite amazing considering my kids thought he was a toy. We had fun with the little guy and miss having him around..that is all of us but Wrigley...she definitely likes being the only dog and was a little thrown off by Ralph being here.

Logan is OBSESSED with the IPOD. He is growing up to fast...here he is on a car ride keeping entertained by it.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

We celebrated St. Patricks day with friends at the mall (we were supposed to meet at the park but it was still too wet) and then dinner with a coworker and her husband at Grimaldi's...YUMMY!

Fire Station

We went to visit the fire station on Monday and the kids had a great time. There were lots of it so it was a very full firestation.

After the firestation it was such a beautiful day that we went and enjoyed the park with all of our friends.

Fun Filled Weekend

Saturday we met my parents for dinner at Papadeaux's....the boys enjoyed themselves some crawfish...I don't mind it as long as it is fried but I do not like to have to work for my food...that and it is messy.Afterwards we just had to get out to enjoy the amazing weather we had this weekend...so we headed over to the park....Logan took his soccer ball and enjoyed playing with everyone.
Addie and I walked around and read all the storybooks.

Logan wanted me to play soccer too so he told me he would teach me how :)
Trolley Ride...

Today was another beautiful day out so after church and lunch we headed home to enjoy some outdoor time.

We had some new neighbors move in across the street and they have a little boy Jackson who is 4, a little boy Jayden who is 18 mo and a little girl on the way. We are so excited to finally have someone on our street for the kids to play with...here is Logan and Jackson already becoming great buddies.
