What a Week

I have not posted in a while and things have been quite hectic around here. I actually lost one of my memory cards so I don't have any pictures from the weekend or beginning of the week. Hopefully I will find it. We had a baby shower and my Aunts Pam's birthday at the Grotto this past weekend which kept us busy. Oh and Happy Belated Birthday Aunt Pam and my Cousin Kyle!!!!
This week a friend of mines little girl had to be admitted to the hospital and so I had her little boy Ashton for a few days and on top of that I had told another friend that I would watch her 2 kids while she went to the doctor this past week as well. So one afternoon I had 5 kids (2 - 3 yr olds and 3 - 1 yr olds). It was one crazy house but the kids had a blast and they were all very well behaved besides destroying the upstairs play room but isn't that what it is for. My dear husband came home and cleaned it all up for me - he is so great!!!! So here is what I have from the week. Wednesday I was crazy enough to take all 3 kids to the mall when they woke up for lunch and a little shopping. I had it all planned out where Logan would walk and the babies would ride in the stroller (which normally Logan would love to walk but of course not on this day). Therefore I carried one baby and pushed the other 2 in the stroller. I had the moby with me but Addie was not going to have that because that would have made things easier!!!! Well anyways it was an exhausting week but a fun one. We loved having our friends over to hang out and were glad that we could help out!!! Addie and her buddies Raylan and Ashton - Addie can say "ashton" and it is funny because Ashton just loves to say "Addie" and he can't even say his own sisters name.
Is this girl a cutie or what????

Stroller Cuties

Today Debbie and I went walking and we let Ashton and Addie ride together while Lo and Aubrey rode on the sit and stand. The babies looked so cute with their binkies in their mouths. They could almost pass as twins (and people usually think they are when they are together).

Houston Zoo

We have been wanting to go to the zoo now that Addie is a little older since she was just a baby the last time we went. She loves animals and might not can say much but she can make animal sounds. My Aunt Pam came along with us and I know the kids had so much fun hanging out with her. Thanks Aunt Pam for a fun day!

Here is Logan brushing the goats hair. It must have felt good because it looks like he is falling asleep.

Of course we can't go to the zoo with out a train ride.....

Friends

Today Jes and the kids came over so Jes and I could work on Eli's birthday invitations. All the kids had fun playing together except for the babies wanted to be help pretty much the whole time. I think they might be a little spoiled :) Logan and Addie had fun sharing their chairs and watching a movie with friends. They are all so stinkin cute!!!!

This week...

We haven't been up to a whole lot this week. Just hanging around and doing a little organizing but still lots left to do. Here are some pictures I have snapped from the week.
One of Addie's favorite things to do is read. She will sit in her room all by herself for over 30 minutes just reading herself books (or making noise as if she is reading). Everytime I can't find her this would be where she is. As we speak I can hear her in there reading. She is just so cute. If only she would start talking though - she is saying "Uh Uh"or however spelled. She also says "cat" sort of (more like "CA"). Its a start. She also is finally drinking from a sippy cup - i can't remember if I already mentioned that in a previous post. She has been for almost 2 months now and it is so nice!!!! I didn't think the day would ever come. She is very smart though. I can tell her to go get pretty much anything and she will bring it right to me and she knows where her eyes, nose, mouth, head, belly button, etc. are.
Logan has been quite the photographer lately. He took this picture of Addie. He is always taking pictures of her and loves to have a camera in his hand.

Past Few Days

This past Friday night we went to a wedding of a family friends. I used to babysit the girl that got married. Does it mean you are getting old when you are now going to the weddings of the kids you babysat? Hopefully not! The wedding was absolutely beautiful and was a blast. Ryan and I had a night out to ourselves which was also nice. They danced to one of the songs from Mamma Mia (one of my favorite movies) and it was so cute.
Today Logan wanted to get the playdough out. This was Addie's first time playing with it and I think they both enjoyed it together while I enjoyed doing laundry.
Last Friday we went to Safari Stop with Jes, Ava and Eli. Here is a cute picture of Eli and Addie.
Last week one day while Logan was napping Addie found his cowboy boots and decided to take them for a little walk. SO CUTE!

Fun Day at the Park

We took a picnic lunch and headed to the park with our friends Michelle, Haley and Lizzie. It was such a nice day out and the kids had fun getting some energy out.

Addie went down the slide all by herself!!!

Arkansas

We had fun meeting up with Chad and Katie in Arkansas. We met in Hot Springs which was a neat little town. I have been once before but did not remember much. It was too bad that we were there no New Years day because a lot of the neat little shops were closed. Here is a picture of downtown Hot springs. They are also known for their bath houses which we planned on doing a massage at but could not get in before we were leaving Hot Springs.

Wait for me Uncle Chad......
We finally got a good family picture...you can see the steam coming from the hot springs behind us.

Logan really took to Chad while we were there. I know he was sad to see him go. We wish we could see them more often.

After Hot Springs we headed to Little Rock and it was not quite as nice a Hot Springs. First off my car got broken in to overnight at the hotel. We got a call from the front desk around 7 telling us that we had a window busted out. What a great feeling to wake up to. They stole our GPS and an ac/dc adapter (i think thats what it was) apparently we should have taken them out to begin with because the police just said "you left this in your car". Apparently this had happened about 5 times in the past week. They should mention things like this to you. It was a nice hotel as well. Other than that we had fun just hanging out and we definitely didn't let this ruin our time together.

We find this nice little park down by the river.

My brother climbed to the top and so my dad thought it was a good idea for him to try. He made it about halfway.

We miss you guys so much and hope we get to hang out with ya'll again soon!!!!!
