Big Helpers and more

The kids love to help out when it comes to doing chores around the house (even though they end up making it even harder on me :)). Everytime they hear the vacuum cleaner they come a running and think its a ride. Good workout out for me and they enjoy falling off strangely enough. Addie decided to do a load of laundry for me the other day...clean laundry at that.

Sleveless and Shorts in February???

Seriously I know it is still supposed to be somewhat cold in February but I am so loving this weather. I hate cold weather. I love that my kids are already wearing shorts and short sleeves. It is so much easier not to have to worry about if I got their jackets and hats and everything else that goes along with cold weather and my load is a lot lighter too. I am sure we will still have some cold weather ahead but for now we are enjoying our time outside in the sun!

As I am sure I have mentioned before...Addie is such a little momma. She loves to carry her baby dolls around, feed them, birp them, put them to bed and everything that you do with babies. She takes such good care of them.

Happy 2nd Birthday Ashton

Today we had Addie's little buddy Ashton's birthday party at build a bear. As you can imagine they were thrilled to death to get to build a bear (or bunny - which is what they both chose and I thought this appropriate since Easter is on its way).

This was Addie's first time to build a bear and she was not quite sure how everything worked but was pleased after she found out what they were doing to her bunny.

Logan chose an Astros outfit for his bunny. I was torn between a fairy costume and a cheerleading costume for Addie's bunny and went with the cheerleader since Logan had a ball player.

Ashton then decided to take Addie out for a little drive with their new pals. This was so cute. We always tell them that they are each others first loves. The store thought they were so cute they asked if they could have our SD card and make a copy of the picture!

Today we met Robyn and the kids for lunch at Chick fil A and some playtime at Safari Stop.

Robyn and I were chatting away while the boys ran around in the play area and Addie was just roaming around at the bottom when all of a sudden we look up and she somehow got up inside and was so stinkin proud of herself. She played up there for quite a while and then got a little upset when she could not find her way down.

Since I decided to go with a Recaro over a Britax...I found a really good deal on a 2nd one and we got it in the mail today. So I was so excited to have both the new carseats for the kids.

Baby Gifts

Ryan took the day off today so that he could watch the kids (which was LONG overdue) while I went over to my aunts and did some sewing with her. I have needed a few baby gifts so here are our cute little gift sets that we made. I need to just tie them up with a ribbon now. 1. A snuggie blanket
2. A bib
3. A burb cloth
4. A pacifier clip
I am pretty impressed with what we did. We made several of these because I need several baby gifts. Anyways just had to share since I think that we did a pretty good job. OH and we are making Addie a dress that is going to be ADORABLE. Hopefully it will be done soon and I can then post a picture of it.

Sunday night we had a youth night and played some mystery games. We always enjoy being with them and they are such a great group. Here is the talented Brittany sticking a spoon to her nose and she can also do it on her ear. Here is Mrs. Claire dressed for one of the games!

Today the kids and I made cupcakes and Logan insisted our cupcakes me blue. The kids had fun helping make them and decorate them but the most fun eating them. I sure hope daddy enjoys them when he gets home because Logan has been saying all day that he can't wait for daddy to have a cupcake.

Lovelady LoveFest

Happy Valentine's Day. We headed to Lovelady where my grandparents live for the Lovelady Parade. Here is my grandpa in the parade with some fellow athletes from highschool. My grandfather is the one is his letterman jacket. It is awesome that he still has it and can still fit in it. Here is my special valentine...

This was what I told Ryan we wanted to do for Valentines...actually him being back home was the best present. We had a great day and the best part was we didn't have to deal with any of the crowds. Hope everyone was able to be with and enjoyed being with their valentines today.
