Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Well baseball season is here!!!!! and finally College Basketball is OVER!!!! I had enough of that and my bracket was pretty much destroyed by the second round. We passed on opening day this year considering the fun we had last year (if you want a recap just check here). Since Ryan is a Cubbies fan he had to make it to at least one of their games. We decided to have a Logan day and leave Addie at home. At first Logan didn't like the idea of this but pretty sure he enjoyed his time with Mommy and Daddy. We picked Daddy up from work downtown and walked to Birraporetti's (sp???) for dinner. We took Logan on a shortcut through the tunnels and he thought this was fun and it was much safer considering their were no cars underground (if you are not from Houston - the tunnel is underground it is has numerous entrances from the buildings downtown and there are all kind of restaurants and much more down there).

Logan was excited to get to spend time with Daddy.

Before we left I gave Logan the choice of wearing his Cubs jersey and hat or his Astros shirt and hat and he chose the "Stros" - That's my boy!

We let Logan choose a snack at the game and of course he chose ice cream....and as always comes with the nifty little plastic baseball cap.

He was so excited the Astros got a home run!!! (actually 2 in a row)

We had fun with our little guy and it was nice to just focus on him for a while. We missed our Addie but she had fun at home with Grammy. On the way home Logan told us "I had so much fun with you Mommy and Daddy"....this just made my day!
