Circus

We took the kids to the circus Wednesday night for Ava's actual birthday!!! To say they had fun would be an understatement! We had dinner at one of mine and the kids favorites in Houston, Cleburne Cafateria. The kids always eat really good here. Here they are during dinner. We got to the cirucs a little early so that we could go see the animals and watch the pre-show. Apparently everyone else did too because it was packed.

Addie and her clown hat that came with our $12 cotton candy. Yeah thats right $12 for Cotton Candy. Crazy I know but I thought every child should have cotton candy at the circus right?? So we got it and my kids didn't even like it. Ryan and I were not going to let it go to waste so we ate it without the help of the kids.

We had such a good time and Logan is still talking about the circus. We had awesome floor seats. Logans favorite parts were any with the animals involved. He LOVED the tigers and the elephants oh and the dogs of course. Mine and Ryans was the human canonball. Those people fly out of there going 65 miles an hour. INCREDIBLE!! It was fun to get to be a kid again. I am kind of wondering though if it is cruel the way they treat the animals. I had never thought about it until someone brought it up to me. I don't know how I feel about it exactly. They don't actually do anything harmful to the animals at the show but you wonder what goes on while they teach them to do all the tricks behind the scenes???

Swimming

We went to our pool yesterday to find out that it is closed on Mondays for maintenance. I guess we have never been on a Monday before!!! Logan was so dissapointed So we called my aunt to see if we could come over and go to their pool. Logan had a blast playing with his cousin Kyle. Kyle used to teach swim lessons so he was really good with Logan. Logan was so much braver than he has ever been in the water. You would never know that he used to be scared. He was jumping under water and everything. Way to go Logan!!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Ava

Friday night I needed a major break from the kids. I love them and all but it was just one of those days. Grandma was available so Ryan and I got to go out. It was long overdue!!!!
Saturday some friends, Jenny and Drew came to stay the night. We always enjoy having them at our house and so do the kids (I think the kids think they come to visit them not us). These are just some pictures from our weekend!!!

Playing Around

Okay Kristen, you are so right. This is very addicting. Okay all my blogging friends, you should try out this Scrapblog website. It is really fun to put these together!!!! Anyways I was just playing around with some pictures from this week. But seriously, you guys should check it out.

Kuddos to Babies R Us

For those of you that have gone BPA Free, Babies R Us is replacing any bottles or sippy cups that have BPA in them for ones that do not. You can read more about it and in better detail on a friend of mine Jesica's blog. I have already taken my avent bottles and traded them in and a few sippy cups that I had that had BPA in them. I think I took 17 bottles in and 4 sippy cups and I got 15 new bottles and 4 new sippy cups. Obviously we are almost off our bottles and I have already gotten new ones but I hated to just waste this opportunity so I now have lots of bottles (maybe for next time). I am so thrilled that Babies R Us is now doing this. This makes we want to support them even more.

Everyone says that these two kiddos look just alike. I just don't see it. What do you think???? Oh and thanks Kristen for that cool new scrapblog website. It is great!!!!!

We are finally back in Texas and there is definitely no place like home. We had a good time in Ohio and I know Logan enjoyed hanging out with all his cousins. We also enjoyed our visit with Ryan's Mom and Sean. Here are some more pictures from our trip. We stayed busy the whole time.

Uncle Rich and Addie I finally had the famous "Skyline Chili" - It did not win me over though. It has a very distinct flavor. They put cinnamon in it and it is very runny (oh and they eat it on spaghetti noodles). It wasn't awful but it was not as good as most of the chili I have had in my lifetime.

We took the kids to the country club to swim. It was too cold and rainy for me to get in. The kids didn't seem to mind though.
