Beach Getaway

Well finally I have gotten the beach picutres up...and yes...there are a lot...I couldn't choose just a few as usual. They are in absolutely no certain order. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the beach and pools. We hope to go back here again next year.
The gang...except for Ryan (who had to go back to work) and my mom (who was taking the picture). This was one of the pools. It had a little lazy river that was so relaxing and I liked that most of the pool was shaded.
On Thursday the boys went on a guided fishing tour...they caught this shark...

We spent Thursday night on the strand. We went and ate at Willie G's and then went to Kings Ice cream parlor there on the strand that I have been going to since we were kids.
Logan and Daddy enjoying some yummy ice cream.
Ryan and Katie at dinner...
The morning the boys went fishing the kids and us girls spent the morning at the pool.

Before we left on Saturday we had to go on a ferry ride. Little did I know that the wait to get back to Galveston would be "3" hours....are you kidding me. So my dad told me it would be quicker to go home from Boliver and it was...I felt bad for my parents and their friends because they were going back to the beach condo and had to wait in that line...and it was my idea to go on the ferry....AGGGHHH....At least the kids enjoyed it though....

This is a picture of the dining area/living area of our condo
and the kitchen
The kids having fun with Papa.
This was the bedroom that we slept in and it had a nice big bathroom which I loved. Makes you feel more like you are at home.
Addie and Aunt Katie really bonded this weekend...this is one sleepy Addie about to fall asleep on Aunt Katies shoulder.
Floating along the lazy river...
Me and my precious babies...

Always wanted to float by herself...her she looks like she is trying to drink the water.

Both these kiddos sure love their aunt and uncle...
These were the condos that we stayed in.

Suzanne, Aunt Lisa and Mema came up for the day while we were there and we all had fun out on the beach.
Digging for crabs.
They loved the water...not like me...I won't even get in it...if I could see my feet it might be a different story...Galveston water is not the prettiest

Uncle Chad writing Addie's name in the sand.

Nothing like playing a game of baseball on the beach.

We had a lot of fun hanging out with Katie and Chad and as usual were sad to see them go back to Alabama.

Welcome Hannah Marie

Yes we are finally back from the beach and tomorrow hopefully I will find some time to upload some of my pictures to here. We spent the afternoon at the hospital waiting for baby Hannah to arrive. Leah is my uncle brothers daughter (did you get that) and a dear friend of mine. Aunt Kristi and I headed up to the hospital after we heard Leahs water had broken. Addie had fun playing with Caleb in the waiting room and here she is after getting into Aunt Kristi's glasses.

Here is Aunt Kristi with new baby Hannah....
Hannah is just beautiful with a head full of dark hair. Reminds me of Addie.

Already has her uncle wrapped around her finger....

.....and Grandpa

The beautiful Mommy....

and proud aunt....

Here is daddy and he has baby Hannah's footprints on his shirt....

Sweet baby girl....

Here is big brother Caleb....who just turned "1" yesterday....Yep....exactly one year apart....she is going to have her hands full but will have a blast doing it!

Babies and Birthdays

It was a pretty typical Saturday for us. Ryan had to go into the office today for a while and Addie and I had a baby shower to go to for Shawna. She is having a sweet little baby girl and we can't wait to meet little Avery. She is so cute pregnant...I wish I would have looked that good. Girl time....

After the baby shower I met up with my parents to get Logan and then we headed over to Colton's for his 2nd Birthday....what a little cutie he is!

From there we met up with Ryan and went over to Kris and Greg's to celebrate their birthdays since Greg's was on Wednesday and Kris' is tomorrow. We made pizzas and had some super yummy cupcakes...

Everyone got to blow out candles....

What a silly boy....

My kids are all sugared up but believe it or not I had no problems putting them down because they were exhausted. Tomorrow is church and then RELAXation! Looking forward to our beach trip next week!

Karate Kid

Today I signed Logan up for Karate and we are going to try it out and see if he likes it. He had his first one on one today and seemed to enjoy it! Addie wanted to do it as well and kept saying "addie karate". She wants to do everything her big brother does. Here is Logan showing off his new uniform.... and showing off a few moves...
Headed out the door to go to Nonny's....
Addie's famous face....she does this all the time and it is so cute...

We went with some friends today to a place called Monkey Bizness...the kids really seemed to enjoy it...it was a lot like Pump it Up but I thought it was a little cleaner.
Me and my buddy Ashton!

4 yr checkup and more....

Today Logan had his four year checkup (i know...a little late but what can I say). As usual he was off the charts in height...they remeasured him 3 times because they did not think they could have done it right. I know I am a horrible mom but I don't even remember what his height was...I need to go check all the paper work and see if they wrote it down for me. He weighed 43 lbs...he is definitely no small boy. He had to get 4 shots today and I always hate having to be there while he gets his shots. I told him all about them and all he could think about was the surprise he would get when he was done. He did very well and I was so proud of him but the first thing he said after he got them was lets go get my surprise...i asked if he wanted lunch and he said after the surprise. My mom watched Addie for me so that I could take Logan this morning and spend the day with him. We had fun at Target while he picked out his surprise which of course was between a Lightning Mcqueen car and a monster truck...i convinced him of the monster truck since we have a million Mcqueens. We then went and had lunch at Schlotzkys and he escorted me to Hobby Lobby so I could pick up some frames. We had fun spending time together and we don't get to do it a whole lot just the two of us. He is so precious. The kids went swimming at my parents this afternoon and Addie was just hamming it up....
They really do love each other :)
These are some beautiful blue eyes....
