Bumps and Bruises
We are finally home from Alabama and home has never felt so good. The night before we left we had gone over to my parents to load all of our luggage into my parents car. We were sitting on the back porch talking and I stuck Addie in her baby swing. She was having a blast swinging and she leaned forward and the swing tipped over and she fell out on the concrete. Her neck bent all the way back and Ryan and my dad heard her head hit inside the house. Well to make a long story short we went to the emergency room, had a cat scan (which is one of the worst things I have had to see one of my kids go through because they had to tape her head down and she was all wrapped up where she couldnt move on the bed screaming and crying like crazy) but in the end PRAISE GOD everything looked ok. I seriously give God all the credit for this one because if you could have heard it and seen her head hit you would have been amazed she was okay. Apparently your forehead is one of the thickest bones. Good to know. These pictures do not even give the bump and bruise on her head any justice. It looked awful but cleared up so fast. Poor baby girl. Anyways this got us off to a late start the next morning since we did not even get to pack anything that night due to a late night at the ER.
