We have had a pretty laid back week since Addie was a little under the weather. She is now back to her sweet self. Since we had been stuck in the house all week we decided to venture out to Toys R Us in the rain the other day. This is always a fun time for my kids. Logan is now going through that phase where he wants this toy "really, really bad mom". It's almost convincing, but not quite.
This picture is the perfect picture of Logan because he is always laughing and boy does he have a contagious laugh. He gets so tickled by the smallest things. Tonight in the car Logan was being really quiet and my mom and I said "Logan are you back there?" no answer so we started going on and on about "oh i guess we left him at the store, oh no, we are going to have to turn around and go back and get him", he is saying nothing but you can just hear him in the back seat trying so hard not to laugh loud but he is giggling so hard he can't help it and then he just bursted out in his deep, i can't stop laughing, laugh. Such a sweet boy (when he wants to be) - like us all i guess.
Addie thinks she is pretty cool when she wears Logan's hat. I think she would wear it all day long if Logan would let her. He is usually pretty good about letting her keep it on as long as he has another hat to put on.
One Word.......adorable!!!! My kids are absolutely adorable.
Logan was trying to show Addie around toys r us. he couldn't wait to get her over to the battery operated cars to show them to her. so sweet.

Can I just tell you that I was eating a sour patch kid earlier today and Addie wanted to try one and I hessitantly gave one to her (knowing that she would have a breakdown if i didn't) and I was sure she would barely stick it in her mouth and it would be so sour she would spit it right back out and sure enough, she loved them. the girl has yet to find something with sugar in it that she doesn't like.
Mom and kids tonight at dinner - she never gets to eat because they both want to sit in her lap the whole time.
After lunch today we went to the festival over in Indian Springs. We had a blast. They had all kinds of cool things but the coolest being spider man of course.
Well before we ran into the Tooleys we saw Puffy the Pinecone (and for those of you that don't know he is The Woodlands Mascot) and just had to take a picture for Erin.
They had firetrucks and ambulances for the kids to climb all in. Logan thought this was great. I am pretty sure he now wants to be a fireman!
On the ambulance. This is a little freaky to me (because ambulances freak me out) but I didn't let Logan know that because he never would have gotten in there if I would have said anything.
Addison slept through pretty much the whole thing but as soon as she woke up she sat up in the stroller and guess who she saw.....
She was so excited and just kept pointing at him and making the noise she makes when she wants something (since she doesn't talk). My mom took her over there and she couldn't keep her eyes off of Elmo
