Bluebonnets

Yesterday afternoon after naps Emily and I decided to take the kids to try and get bluebonnet pictures (bluebonnets if you aren't from Texas, are the state flower). Well....we kind of waited a little too long because they looked pretty pathetic....I have been meaning to take the kids pictures in them for a while and of course they are now dying off. I got what I could. Also Logan did not want to participate in the picture taking. He was to concerned with running around and going to the park.

We took a walk over to the park and let the kids play a while before meeting up with some other people for dinner.

Childrens Museum

Sorry for so many posts guys....but we had lots of catchin up to do. I actually do most of this for myself to remember but hope you guys enjoy our lives as well!
We took Emily and Ella to the childrens museum and this is the first time we have been since they have finished adding on. LOVE all the new exhibits and especially the kidtropolis!!!!! I am really glad that I did not renew our membership because we found out the other day that all Chase employees and their families get in free!!!!!!! We were able to get all 5 us in for no cost. This made our day!
They have this awesome new water exhibit outside! This was probably on of the kids favorites!

See.....I told you it was cool!
My little Picasso's! They enjoyed painting me a picture!
This would be Addie throwing a fit...she was beginning to be ready for a nap. I even got part of it on video but this lasted at least a good 5 minutes...She rolled around kicked her legs and screamed. It was quite entertaining.
Logan is such a good grocery shopper and checker!
Teamwork....this didn't last for long....Ella and Logan have a brother/sister (love/hate) relationship (to put it lightly)......I really think Lo has a crush on her and just wants her attention and he definitely gets it when she throws him to the ground and puts him in a body lock (Well not exactly a body lock but she does throw him down)....he says she is his girlfriend!!!! Their marriage is already prearranged....they just need to learn to be nicer to one another first!

They had this really cute diner where the parents could sit at tables while the kids cooked up whatever they wanted whether it be pizza, hot dogs, fries, burgers, chicken, milkshakes, etc.....Here Logan is being my chef.

Emily and Ella are here!

Emily and Ella are finally moved to Corpus and so much closer to us. Lubbock was around 9 hours away and Corpus is only 3 1/2. So they made a trip up to see us. Tuesday night Logan must not have wanted to sleep in his bed because Emily and I found him in his chair in the living room asleep when we came back from Target. I guess Ryan was in our room watching TV and never saw him come out of his room. Ella, Addie and Lo at bath time (not sure why it is sideways???)
Addie decided to show off her girly side to Ella. She pulled out the tutu and all her jewlery.

Bowling Night

Sunday night we went bowling with some of the youth. Logan loves to bowl....he has been doing a little practice on the Wii. He actually is a pretty darn good bowler. Here are Logan and I trying to teach Addie how to bowl a ball. She has bowled before but was a little tired this past time and was not really into it.

A look back

A few weeks ago when Ryan was working late one night, we had dinner at Chick fil A and it was family night with cookie decorating by The American Cookie Co (YUMMMM). The kids had fun doing this but all Addie wanted to do was eat her sprinkles. A windy day at the mall...
A fun day at the mall for Logan always consists of playing with trains at Barnes and Nobles. Even though we have a train table at home (which hardly ever gets used) he begs me to go let him play trains at the book store.

Saying Goodbyes

It has a been a while since I have posted....we have had lots going on. I never finished posting from when Chad and Katie were here. The day we left a whole bunch of us met at Chuys for lunch and got to visit with them before they headed back to Alabama. Logan was incredibly sad to see his Uncle Chad go. They really bonded this time!!!
