We went to the park the other day and Logan really enjoyed the ducks. He chased them all around. He is almost running now. Still has a couple of falls though.

Logan is always full of energy. He loves to climb on just about anything. He is such a monkey. He also is walking everywhere, loves wearing mommy's sunglasses and playing basketball. We are so lucky. He is such a happy little boy!!! And we are very happy to have him as a son!!!!

For Labor Day weekend we went to San Antonio just to get away. Logan had lots of daddy bonding time. We went to the Alamo and ate lots of good mexican food down at the river walk. Logan had lots of fun. As long as he is outside he is happy. A typical boy!!!

Sunday we spent the day at the park. It was soo hot but Logan was enjoying it so it was worth it. He has absolutely no fear when it comes to climbing things and going down slides. Definitely ALL BOY! He is FINALLY walking. He still crawls more than he walks because it is so much faster but each day he is walking a little more and getting pretty good at it. He is also talking up a storm. He has a large vocabulary and will try saying pretty much anything we ask him too. His favorite words being "bye bye", "wrigley" (his dog), "mama", "dada", and many more. It is amazing how fast they grow. I look forward to something new each day. If he isn't talking he has his thumb in his mouth. And of course he gets cuter every day!!

Here are a few more of his 1 year old pictures. He did not like getting dirty. He started crying after he got it all over himself.

Here are some of Logan's 1 year birthday pictures for those of you who did not get to see them.

Logan is our little Astros fan (except for when they are playing the cubs). He has enjoyed going to quite a few games this season and believe it or not he can sit through an entire game.

Ryans brother Eric was able to come down from Key West, FL and visit with us for a few days. He got to see how much Logan had grown since the last time he saw him he was about 1 1/2 months old.

Some good friends of ours Dustin and Kali got married this weekend. Here are a few pictures of us with the new bride and groom. We had a good time and are super excited for them!!!

This past weekend the girls (me, my mom, grandma, aunt and one of my aunts friends) and Logan spent the night at a bed and breakfast in Gruene, Texas. This is the town where George Strait started out singing. So I guess you can say it is somewhat historical :). We had a lot of fun shopping and eating lots of food and goodies.

With it being so hot we have spent a lot of time at the pool. Logan is a little fish and loves to swim. He just finished swim lessons with some of his friends about a week ago. He thinks he can swim by himself but can not kick and move his arms at the same time. He will get it over time. I don't expect him to know how to swim when he doesn't even know how to walk yet.

In July we went to visit my brother, Chad in Glorietta, NM where he is doing his internship. Mema, Pepa, Nonny, Poppy, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Mitchell, Suzanne, and Kathryn (cousins) all went as well. We were able to drive to Santa Fe and do a little shopping and then the weather got bad so we went back to the camp grounds. It was a long drive up there but a nice vacation and Logan did fabulous in the car. On the way home we got to stop in Lubbock and visit Texas Tech and stay the night with some good friends there, The Murphrees.
