Fun Day at the Park

We took a picnic lunch and headed to the park with our friends Michelle, Haley and Lizzie. It was such a nice day out and the kids had fun getting some energy out.

We had fun meeting up with Chad and Katie in Arkansas. We met in Hot Springs which was a neat little town. I have been once before but did not remember much. It was too bad that we were there no New Years day because a lot of the neat little shops were closed. Here is a picture of downtown Hot springs. They are also known for their bath houses which we planned on doing a massage at but could not get in before we were leaving Hot Springs.

Logan really took to Chad while we were there. I know he was sad to see him go. We wish we could see them more often.

After Hot Springs we headed to Little Rock and it was not quite as nice a Hot Springs. First off my car got broken in to overnight at the hotel. We got a call from the front desk around 7 telling us that we had a window busted out. What a great feeling to wake up to. They stole our GPS and an ac/dc adapter (i think thats what it was) apparently we should have taken them out to begin with because the police just said "you left this in your car". Apparently this had happened about 5 times in the past week. They should mention things like this to you. It was a nice hotel as well. Other than that we had fun just hanging out and we definitely didn't let this ruin our time together.

Christmas with Uncle Chad and Aunt Katie

Since Chad and Katie couldn't come to Houston for Christmas we met in Arkansas and had Christmas there. Logan had fun opening more presents. He didn't care whether they were his or not he just liked opening them. He was very excited though to get Horton Hears a Who. Addie got a new baby doll that cries and bottles to feed her. She loves being a little mommy. We are officially done with Christmas now! Thanks Uncle Chad and Aunt Katie for our great gifts! We miss ya'll!

Mema sent some poppers for them since they didn't get to do theirs Christmas day. Katie had never done one so this was a first for her. These pictures are for you Mema.

Happy 2009!

We drove all day New Years Eve to Arkansas to meet up with my brother and his wife Katie. It was about halfway for all of us since they are in Alabama. We were so tired from driving all day that we barely made it til midnight, but we did. We just hung out at the hotel, played some games and had a glass of champagne at midnight. I know, real exciting but we enjoyed ourselves. This is the first year the kids didn't make it til midnight. They were very very tired from car riding all day.
Here is Lo at the hotel. He loves pushing buttons on the elevators. He would tell everyone "it is my job to push the button". It was so stinkin cute.Happy New Year!
